Something I seen posted on Train-Sim has me curious, but I haven't heard about this issue yet.
Apparently the AI is limited to 55MPH even when permitted faster for all engines.
Now I'm not sure if this is Run8 wide or only the northeast. The person on TrainSim wasn't specific, but I can confirm passengers in a 90 zone are limited to 55.
Curious what is happening in the SW.
Thanks Sean

I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure I've seen AI go over 55 when speed limit allows it. I will verify and update this thread.
Update:
It appears that the Train/Track Speed is not reporting correctly in the Shift Z menu. I tried an AI Z and Amtrak train and they both only got up to 55 in a 70 zone. I then took control of the trains and the Train/Track speed was only showing 55. Seems like something has changed with one of the updates.
Mike, can you report this to the Run 8 team?
Update 2:
I was just looking through the Depot forum and it's a known bug in Update 5.

Update 3:
I tried the override Speed Limit setting and it reverts right back to 55 so not even a work around at this time.

I have reported this issue to Run 8 as well. I told them I'm worried that UPS will be calling anytime now asking why they are paying a premium for slower service.

Update 06 has the fix for this, I have tested this quite a bit over the weekend and everything seems to be back to normal. Happy to see how quickly this was resolved. Way to go Run 8!!!
