I followed the route Content\Routes\ect in the manual and didn't get any where to generate the car report. Is there a special program I need to do this?

Whiles in sim, Left-CTRL+L, will open panel, from there, you'll be able to (Generate Car Report).
File can then be found: Run8Studios/Run8 Train Simulator V2/Content/V2Routes/Regions/SouthernCA
Same method up to Regions folder for other routes.
File-Spreadsheet Name: IndustryCarReport
