Hello others wanted the word out thus I'm sounding the alarm was some sort of hiccup moments ago everything disappeared for everyone on 3 of us, just as 3rd member joined the server, his ping was larger, but stated normal as in Spain. It came back, but, the string I had spotted on R8 at Barstow earlier in the morning disappeared & said I had deleted. I hadn't acquired any trns/engs/rollingstock for quite sometime within the sim... Hopefully Clint/Mike may be able to recover the loss?

I won't be able to look at it on the server until tonight. Can you give me an idea of what was being spotted on R8 please? If there is other work in the area planned and you think you were fouling any of the switches on the ladder with the train that disappear, then I would advise we put those jobs on Hold in the Work List, or assign them to yourself so no one else takes them for now.
Thanks, Mike

I will add some info from my side, because it happened just seconds before I entered online. I've checked my logs and after entering online I see some error on my end about some sounds: "Error loading sound bank: C:\Run8Studios\Run8 Train Simulator V2\Content/V2RailVehicles/Sounds/Horns/.xsb", After that I see the chats with SMRY and Kdogg, then everything dissappeared, so I bailed out myself and enter again. On my second enter, there is no error about the sound and I see every train loaded, and seconds after the messaga that SMRY sais "2018-07-02 19:18:12,463 INFO - 0: SMRY : has just deleted a train." (my computer local time log is CEST).
I don't see anything more except for chatting in my logs.
Because of my work, I'm used to read tons of 'unreadable' log files, so If I can help somehow on searching something, don't hesitate to ask me for help if it can be usefull in any way.
Edit, at this moment, the problems seems to be only the cut that was spotted on R8, first half of MBARLAC1
Regards,

OK guys, thanks for the details. I'm planning to take the server down tonight (late) for some Run 8 configuration changes. When I do that I'll grab what was on R8 from an autosave that is prior to this Hickup. By the way I've had this exact same thing happen to me before.
I'm hoping the configuration changes I'll be moving from my client to the server will help resolve this glitch/hickup issue which seems to be Run 8 experiencing a sudden spike in memory usage on the server.
Thanks, Mike

Mike, just something for you to consider when recovering the train from R8. I had moved the BARLAC cars to R8 and R7 last night in preparation for a local hump. I then ran the hump and finished up around 9 pm eastern, and left instructions to assemble the BARLAC in the correct order and place it back in R8 and R7. I'm not sure what time this assembly and movement happened, but if we can recover after the hump and assembly that would be great. The work list should reveal what time this task was completed.
Thanks
Clint

Well I recovered the cars early this morning and put them on R8, before reading your last message. So that's where they be.
