Good Morning,
At this moment, the service area at Barstow is almost empty, 11 locos at the fuel pads, and 15 more awaiting service.
Can we move locos from service pad to service area, and move those awaiting service to the fuel pads on our own? or do we have to wait until there is such task in the registry?
Regards,

I don't see any reason they couldn't be moved from the fuel pads to the parking area without a work list item but only once the ready at time has been reached. The only time they would be put into the actual shop building is for their major services like the 30-60-90 day service which we currently don't simulate. The power that is in the shop building right now are leftovers from before the LA release we when were downsizing some power from victorville and reorganizing some things. I will take a look at these and most likely have them put back into the power pool. The normal end of trip turnaround service is completed right at the fuel pads.
Power management is another aspect of running an efficient railroad and the may be times where trains are delayed due to not having any power ready at the call time, but the service must be completed before they can be sent back out.
Good question and I'm sure you're not the only one that was wondering about this.
