Hi, This is Egoitz from Spain. I've been dealing with run8 the last few days, I'm almost new with this kind of simulations, but I ran hundreds of hours in flight simulation (mainly x-plane). I've a question about using the server world in single player. I mean, is it possible to access the SRS world to export the scenario and play it in sigle player mode? For example, i've take a look at the Registry task list, and I've seen a task in the mojave yard to combine cars in 3 track in a single track. As I'm not yet comfortable enough to do it online, I would like to export that scenario, and play it myself, is it possible? It would be easier than "build" a similar scenario by myself. P.S: When I say if it is possible, I'm asking about "internal rules", I don't want you to explain me how to export/import a world/train. Just in case of missundesrtanding because of my english Regard, Egoitz

Welcome.
Unfortunately Run8 will not allow you to save a world when you are a client. The only way to get a world is for a host to provide it to you via attachment, email, etc. Usually there is more than just the world to consider, as you have to keep in mind of the industries and other files like hump controllers, schedules, etc.
Now what you can do is click onto every string needed to complete the task when on the server if available. In other words click on the first unit of a string and save the train to your hard drive with a descriptive name of your choice. Be sure to relinquish each one after you save, then click on the next until you have all strings you need saved.
To get this into your world from there, in single player simply load up each train as they call it from the menu. It's best to do it on a completely new world and you can use an extra board load to the nearest location to start loading trains. Now you won't have the industry files so it may be different than what is on your hard drive. But it gives you the opportunity to work the yards, etc. at the very least.
Thanks
Sean

Replying in spanish. Thanks!

Thanks Sean, at this moment im only interested on yard work so i think i can copy the whole barstow yard and import it in single player, i dont want the industry or the rest trains on the world for now, i just want to test my skills offline.
Thanks both

It is possible to save a "world" even as a client. But in that case only the "world" in close vicinitiy to where you are. So if you position your avatar at the Mojave Yard, the trains and cars at the yard should be saved onto your computer. Then you can exit the mulitplayer session and load the "world" into a singleplayer. Test and see if it covers all cars you need for the practise.
I don't know Spanish so Japo32 might already told you this. Sorry for duplicate info in that case. :-)
